There’s no doubt about it. It’s popsicle weather in Houston. Today my car told me that it was 105 degree and it was not even close to being the first day it was that hot. Anything that will cool you down is a good thing right now.
Last year I bought this cool popsicle maker. You freeze the whole thing and it will freeze popsicles for you in about 8-10 minutes. Nothing like a fast food popsicle.
Tonight we made Cherry Limeade Pops! Here’s what you need –
Popsicle maker of any kind
I filled each section of the Zoku Popsicle maker with limeade, then added a bit of grenadine and a few quarters of cherry to it. The Zoku stayed cold enough for us to make 2 batches (6 pops). There was still some leftover limeade, so I dug out the old popsicle maker and filled it up as well! We’ve got lots of Cherry Limeade Pops now!
